One cold autumn evening, as the sun dipped behind the snowy mountains of an Azerbaijani village, Riz Ali wrapped up his day’s work and headed home. His village sat near the railway, and suddenly, a thunderous roar echoed through the mountains. Rocks tumbled down, blocking the train tracks. Moments later, the whistle of an approaching train pierced the air.
Fearing a disaster in the dark, Riz Ali acted quickly. In the biting cold, he stripped off his clothes, fashioned a torch from them, and set it ablaze. Riding his swift donkey, he raised the torch high and raced towards the train.
“Run, train, run! Run, Riz Ali, run!”

Gameplay

Run Dehghan Run is inspired by the true story of Riz Ali Khajavi, a farmer who risked his life to prevent a train accident. The game takes a humorous spin on this tale.
In this Runner-style game, players control Riz Ali as he rides his donkey, dodging obstacles and collecting flames along the way to keep his torch lit. The goal is to prevent the train from colliding with the rocks by ensuring the torch doesn’t go out.
